Kindergarten continued their study of symmetry by making Thanksgiving turkeys out of salt dough and coffee grounds. These were used for the decoration of the cafeteria for Thanksgiving lunch. 1st grade used shapes to create their favorite animals in their habitats. Students had to research their animal to find out information that helped them make their work more authentic. 2nd grade read Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle and reviewed images from the internet that showed the different types of seahorses in the ocean. Students used their knowledge of pattern to develop a camouflage for their seahorse. This project will be used for ART TO REMEMBER-fundraiser coming up in the spring.

We've been having some technical difficulties with internet and enough storage to take pictures of some awesome artwork that's being made.
