1st grade finished their "Dream Vacation" using various lines we discussed in class. Lines tell stories, lines become shapes, lines turn into pictures. You can click on the gallery below to enlarge the images so you can see the details. We will be working on shapes next! 2nd grade Using the various lines we discussed in class students had to show these different lines within the hair for their" Bad Hair Day." These drawings could be as silly, or as real as they wanted them to be. I thought these were great examples of how different one idea could look. Great job everyone! 3rd grade discussed what it means to make a pattern. A pattern can be anything that repeats. Some students kept the idea of pattern going by using color pattern inside their lines. Students then had to create a habitat for their" Line Lions", you'll see lion cubs and Kings and Queens of the Jungle.
